Thirty and standing — a road a dozen years long
From small-town underdog to independent developer. None of the steps were glamorous, but every one of them counted.

2012
Graduated from a small rural town
Left my hometown as a self-certified "bad student" — the report card was rough, but my curiosity about computers was overflowing.
Inner voice · Some kids were small-town academic stars. I was in the batch that couldn’t even do the homework.
2015
Finished vocational school, CS major
Got my computer science diploma and officially entered the IT industry — through the lowest-level door.

2016
Left a search engine company
A short stint at a search engine company — my first close look at how "traffic" really works.
Inner voice · My biggest takeaway there: I searched "how to quit your job gracefully."
2018
Worked in export trade overseas
Went abroad to do trade, facing overseas customers directly — and truly understood how Chinese products sell to the world.
Inner voice · My English was nearly zero; translation apps and hand gestures did the heavy lifting. Somehow, both life and business kept moving.
2020
Opened my own studio
Focused on websites, ad campaigns and SEO for small businesses. One person, one full team.
Inner voice · Boss, designer, developer and support — all me. Nobody is ever late to my meetings.
2023
AI software startup
Built a software product with AI at its core — and made my first million RMB in six months.
